In July 2023, at the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments, and Fisheries, Bianka1 was presented, the winning venture of the Fondo Emprende program. The project is a medical device that allows for monitoring oxygen saturation and automatically dosing the flow of gases to the patient.
In the presence of Deputy Minister Alfonso Abdo, ministry officials, media representatives, and the general public, the winning project of Fondo Emprende was introduced.
Our Chairman of the Board at Digital Arias, Mauricio Arias, and the Winning Entrepreneur of Bianka1, Karel Espinosa, shared ideas and reviewed the project details. The entrepreneur shared that he received support from technical specialists in mechanical design, electronics, software development, firmware, and hardware, as well as assistance from the National Pediatric Association.
On its website, the project is described as: “The first and most complete and innovative device that uses a system that combines automatic oxygen therapy with the latest advances in technology and artificial intelligence, controlling the use of oxygen and air, managing its flow automatically and intelligently according to the patient's needs and medical indications.”
Bianka1 received USD 122,658, which enabled it to develop and present its product to the market. Its main niche is hospitals, aiming to cover the local market and export its products.
There is innovation and a lot of creativity in Karel Espinosa, the mind and executor behind this business idea. Many hours of effort, work, and dedication have made this entrepreneur stand out in the competition.
At Digital Arias, we wish Karel and Bianka1 the best of success, and we are confident that they will continue to reap many rewards. We believe that the only way to advance Latin America is through innovation and businesses.
